MOOD Smart Food ("MOOD", "we") is a nutrition and meal-plan service operated in Kuwait. This policy explains what data the MOOD mobile and web app collects and how it is used.

Data we collect

• Account details — name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash), used to create and sign in to your account.
• Body and goal data — age, gender, height, weight, target weight, activity level and dietary goals, used to calculate your personal calorie and macro targets.
• Health and activity data — steps, active energy, distance and heart rate, read from Apple Health only with your explicit permission, used for daily objectives and MOOD Coin rewards. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health.
• Food logs and photos — meals you log, including photos you choose to submit for AI analysis. Photos are processed to estimate calories and macros and are not used for any other purpose.
• Orders and delivery details — your meal-plan subscription, chosen meals and delivery address. Payments are processed by our payment providers (e.g. KNET, Visa, Apple Pay gateways); we never store card numbers.
• Coach conversations — messages you send to the AI coach, used solely to generate replies and keep your conversation history.

How we use data

Your data is used only to provide the MOOD service: personalised meal plans, nutrition tracking, kitchen deliveries, coin rewards and coaching. We do not sell your data, show third-party advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Where data is stored and who processes it

Data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase, hosted in the EU) and protected by row-level security so each account can only access its own records. Limited data is shared with service providers strictly to operate features: payment gateways for checkout, AI providers for meal-photo analysis and coaching replies, and our kitchen for preparing and delivering your meals.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time from the app, or by emailing amgad@moodkw.com. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems.
